salve tutti sono ancora io! volevo verificare un dubbio che mi è venuto sulla comunicazione seriale. come ho già scritto in un precedente post sto costruendo un cubo led 8x8x8. per comandare l'accensione diretta dei led uso arduino, mentre per decidere quali led utilizzare uso un programma in c# scritto da me. tramite quest'ultimo io ho la possibilità di creare le animazioni grazie all'interfaccia grafica. in particolare creo frame per frame e li concateno uno dietro all'altro per poi salvarli in un file. in sostanza l'idea era quella di passare un frame per volta ad arduino in modo che lui lo accendesse. io passo quindi una riga per volta (8 byte) di una matrice tridimensionale che rappresenta appunto il mio frame. il codice del ciclo è qualcosa de tipo: code: [select] for (z = 0; z < 8; z++) {        for (y = 0; y < 8; y++)         {                  for (x = 0; x < 8; x++)                  {                   //scrivi un byte

i've been helping uncle recent software updates. recently, renewed norton internet security subscription (for 2 years) , got free copy of systemworks out of deal. around same time, msn updated browser , connection software (he's on msn dial-up). ever since, flash hasn't been working. had 7, thought needed update. going flash 9 install page failed work. through msn browser, no activex control security dialog happened. did clean uninstall of flash , able security dialog. didn't help, since no download box came up. so, came home. on computer downloaded install_flash_9 msi package, burned cd , installed on computer. when go site has flash, still shows box x. can right click on , "about" "settings" , "about flash 9" options, nothing there helps. i searched on msn's settings, haven't found block flash. tried temporarily disabling norton, didn't either. his computer slow because has million spyware blockers , popup blockers, did m

i having problem getting ubuntu manage screen brightness. seems change if come out of standby without being plugged in can't change dynamically. have tried adding noapic option in boot line in menu.lst didn't help. not sure next troubleshooting. using hp/compaq 8501w. i still looking on issues. suggestions on where/how start troubleshooting? i've got old ibook g3 (900mhz) i'd run flavor of ubuntu on. i've installed ubuntu , xubuntu @ various times, suffered system freezes, etc. re-installed os x , ran memtest, caused kernel panic. pulled 512mb chip, , ran again, same result, guess it's safe ram on motherboard bad. i've read online, there's no fix on os x side short of motherboard replacement, , computer's not worth expense, @ point. i'm wondering though, ubuntu-newbie, there way once have ubuntu installed can tell ignore ram on motherboard? 512mb alone ought @ least run xubuntu comfortably, yes? i have done basic programming pic , basic stamps , having fun arduino uno.  have project , advice optimal arduino project.  have simple tv antenna (aluminum) on aluminum mast rotor runs on 12vdc (solar charged deep cycle batteries) control remotely in-house while monitoring antenna compass heading in real time .  set heading desired , have controller activate rotor motor until heading reached.  have figured out basics of uno reading data lcm303 magnetometer, , have xbee series1 connected uno transferring corrected compass heading data via serialsoft.h library xbee connected laptop.  for remote project, @ antenna side, envision local arduino+mag sensor+servo relay shield+xbee.  150' away have arduino standalone controller + xbee+graphics lcd.  (to start though have xbee laptop software control). for remote location setup, uno or due adequate handle xbee serial interrupt communications sending magnetometer data strings, , receiving servo motor requests?  remote arduino code

ho acquistato lo starter kit di arduino poco più di una settimana fa, ho svolto tutti progetti proposti dal libro e ne ho ideati altri di testa mia senza alcun problema con vari componenti, ma da oggi pomeriggio ho notato che gli interruttori non funzionano più e non riesco capirne il motivo. con il tester ho appurato che gli interruttori di per sé non hanno problemi: premendo il pulsante viene rilevata continuità tra due terminali; però quando li vado ad inserire nel circuito è come se non ci fossero. l'unica spiegazione che mi rimane è che terminali non fanno contatto con la breadboard, ma non riesco comunque spiegarmi come sia possibile che fino ieri non abbia avuto problemi mentre oggi nessuno dei 10 pulsanti sembra utilizzabile. se il problema è questo, come posso risolverlo e da cosa può essere stato causato? oppure quale altra spiegazione potrebbe esserci? ora tu per un attimo immagina di essere l'esperto e io ti dico che ho 10 pulsanti cas

bonjour à tous, je suis nouveau sur le forum et dans l'utilisation d'arduino. j'ai un projet à réaliser et cela nécessite le contrôle de servomoteurs. je voulais savoir si cela était possible avec une kinect, c'est à dire que lorsque la personne se déplacerait de gauche à droite, le servomoteur effectuerai une rotation de gauche à droite et inversement. si ce n'est pas possible avec une kinect, avec quel autre matériel/logiciel serait-il possible de faire cela? je vous remerciement grandement pour vos réponse et l'aide que vous pourrez m'apporter. cela doit être possible avec la kinect mais ça risque d'être très lourd à mettre en oeuvre. sinon tu peux mettre 4/5 détecteur de présence infrarouge sur un demi cercle, ça te fait une barrière à 180°avec 4 positions pour les servomoteurs. après ça dépend de la précision que tu veux avoir pour les servos. solution un peu moins lourd que la kinect, tu des librairies de traitement d

hey all, i've got triple boot setup running win xp, ubuntu 7.10, , win 7 rc. came xp, loaded 7.10, win 7 beta ->rc. using windows 7 boot manager of right now. have added menu entries in order grub boot ubuntu, i'm wondering if upgrade 8.04, lose windows boot manager , have replaced grub? believe there issue while ago grub wouldn't play nice win 7 why needed windows boot manager. i'm pretty new type of stuff, i've gone pretty far getting working triple boot. apparently, 7.10 eol , 8.04 next logical step. or insight appreciated!
