How Do I Add an Existing htm file to the list of pages in Contribute ?

we have copy of contribute. told create pdf files on fly - - when tried got error message saying needed have adobe 8 pdf creator. more expense expensive project. can create web page excel or word , want know how link page in contribute. can please ? many thanks, gypsygranny
