hi all, i'm trying find solution in creating 360 degree free rotating camera. main problem of course - ribbon cable, due after couple of turns become problem. i've discovered slip rings , seems fit idea nicely, have no ribbon cables, regular once (like 12 cables passing). question - doable? thank in advance! you try mounting pi , camera on slip ring unit. use slip ring carry power , wifi rather wired ethernet talk pi. raspberrypi

hi all, i working on project use pubsub client (mqtt) , gsm shield control micro servo. now, have code in place connect gprs via gsm shield , have pubsub client in place , these things work perfectly. connecting gsm , mqtt inside setup() function, first connect gsm, connect gprs , after connections done, i'm connecting mqtt. now, after these connections in setup() function, i'm attaching servo pin 5 or 6 myservo.attach(6). in loop, i'm publishing on every second message, every time when message published, servo moved. basically, every time gsm shield send singnal mqtt write on pin 5 or 6 moving servo small value. i'm using arduino uno, gsm shield (http://arduino.cc/en/main/arduinogsmshield) , tinkerkit microservo. i'm having 9v power supply. can me or explain going on here, because i'm trying figure out happening 2 days now? thanks could due power? maybe gsm needs more power or that? i looking recreate clothing catalog order form in flex. each product has 5 common attributes , variable number of sizes. client likes these displayed in massive grid sized products grouped under same sizes. customer types qtys of each size. there bundles , rules around qty , price between sizes etc. 250 items displayed on page , total qtys , price on button click. i have had running number of years in html using forms , js. looking @ porting flex. while looking expand options customer can use find , select product need maintain view use to. looking using datagrids can tell datagrids can not have new column labels further down grid or can they? for example sizes or columns s, m l xl have 3 rows , further down grid have new columns 7, 9,11, 13 etc 6 rows. ideally want keep data inside 1 grid rather display 7-8 grid on 1 page. if can offer advice on whether go down datagrid or list path appreciate it. data grid cannot itself. there ways though. consider datagrid in repeater. tracy

this 1 has been bugging me while , hope give me @ least few pointers. (where start looking, maybe possible solution though more willing myself - need put on "the right track".) anyway, when on blogcategory opt use "links" after articles intro/collumns, on last page of said blogcategory, there wont enough articles fill links in list. (illustrated in list links on bottom of page: blog category example ) this on not big issue, besides being bit untidy - if hover mouse right of bullets no links behind them in list, notice there hidden link behind each of them. besides links having double slash in them, of course not ideal search engines either. in ideal situation rid of "empty bullets" in list, if page ends 3 links, show 3 links , not slots.. if on complicated side, settle temporary fix of not having these useless links behind empty bullets. hope made sense  anybody? appreciate hint in right direction. hello everyone. had ubuntu 9.04 running on usb external hard drive connected asus eeepc. worked great until had power failure several hours. when start system , press esc repeatedly choose usb drive, ubuntu startup line appears @ bottom of screen message "unclean shutdown, checking drives" , counter begins counting appears disk sectors. when done checking, command line prompt appears , requests root user password. if type in, result command line prompt instead of loading ubuntu gui. can tell me how restore ubuntu gui? -gene this long-standing problem , i've found solution. tried several ways view contents of usb external hard drive when attached different computers (mac, windows) , seemed ok. ready reformat usb drive , reinstall ubuntu when found following workaround. when maintenance shell says enter password or control-d not work. type "enter" , command line prompt. type fsck

using loadmovie left-aligns loaded .jpg file. using <img> tag html text box left or right align image. using <p align='center'> around <img> tag doesn't work. is possible there no way center loaded image? that bite. help! project depends upon this. thanks. hi, im looking assistance if possible project im working on. want connect array of light-dependent resistors raspberry pi, store ldr's in pigeonholes, , when letter or parcel placed in pigeonhole ldr blocked, sending signal pi sends email pigeonhole's owner informing them of parcel. current design using 2 8bit shift registers create grid control ldr on @ 1 time, reduce processing , power requirements. idea 1 register control gnd wires along rows, , second register controlling 3.3v wires across columns. 3.3v register step through each of columns connected grounded row (forgive explanation) , signal single live ldr @ time feed pi. however, i'm having issues shift registers. i've found example circuit controls leds instead of ldrs on arduino system, should fine adaptation, cannot shift registers step through leds. not know if issue hardware, or code. example arduino circuit : http://hblok.net/blog/posts/2013/06/30/ ... registers/ , here photos of circuit have built
