Are there any one-click tools that could be used to update firmware via usb?

hey guys,

the arduino micro , due both have usb port programming.  looking @ designing board xmega using xmegaduino ide have usb.

i need able allow end users upload new firmware in simple manner.  right now, i've got board atmega1284 , have them put .bin file on sd card , board loads there.  thinking usb might better option, if can make board acts mass storage device can drop files onto sd card.

so, wondering is there utility out there tell end users download allow them plug device in, select file, , click button upload binary it?  i'd prefer not have batch file.

do mean avrdude ?
