i'm stating on first project arduino , arduino motor shield, , therefore need help. i have 2 dc motors, 1 of them use 2.5 amps, , therefore believe i  need dc motor have external supply not break board. possible somehow 2 ad relays there can trigged motor output on board (the motor has go both way need system change polarity. i hope can this, because i'm new electronic  :~ what kind of motor driving requires 2.5a? there plenty of torque motors run on less..it may worth time invest in smaller amp motor. recently  completed project multiple motors , found out amps can cause issues. hi everyone, new in "unix" world , bought raspberry pi in order understand better unix system. first project try making dvr executable .sh start recorderding video 5 minutes. first problem have that: when play video using omxplayer, video goes fast! string use make video: code: select all raspivid -w 700 -h 400 -o $savedir/$filenameout -t 300000 -fps 6 replay video, type: code: select all omxplayer video.h264 try using -r parameter "refresh , adjuste framerate" still fast. last problem is, can't understand how recorder video "untill" memory gets full. maybe omitting -t parameter ? thank !! omx player assumes, think, 25fps video. h264 not contain information on frame rate is, need encapsulate in container, example mp4, have frame rate information. use avconv or ffmpeg add container fps info, cannot remember exact command line google find it. raspberrypi

i have been itching try linux time. picked copy of ubuntu 9.04 on disk , took plunge , loaded dual boot on toshiba laptop beside windows xp. worked fine 1 week after sessions of loading , unloading of programs in ubuntu, stopped booting. bootup sequence begins, gray screen, , hangs. start ubuntu restore/repair boot sequence? ok there few things can try first press: code: ctrl + alt + f1 do text login screen?. if so, have broken xorg. if not, arnt getting far, if thats case try 1. power system on. 2. @ grub menu use arrow keys select boot line use, press 'e' edit it 3. press 'e' again (i think) edit first line of it 4. go end of line , delete part 'quiet splash' 5. enter finish editing, 'b' boot. , try , see error messages come or anymore information looks bad before hangs, or hangs.
