Time Lapse Project with Auto Backup/Delete - Raspberry Pi Forums

have started first pi project. run weather station (nothing fancy, amateur 1
) , have wanted add web cam feed website long time now. website use allows users upload images via ftp feed. have pi sat around @ home , decided buy camera unit it. have managed set pi take photograph every 15 minutes during day , every 2 hours overnight. want first, use spare ubuntu pc download images after have been taken , delete image have downloaded pi @ 1 time there can 1 photograph on pi while photos has taken stored on pc. second thing upload each photograph ftp server. , i'd of automatically. pi mounted outside , cannot accessed other command line due how pi fitted in case. thinking of using rsync download images using crontab command automate bit. , use program or script upload ftp server. since first project, don't have vast knowledge of linux commands @ all. set camera unit myself used worksheet website. gentle mentioned rsync that's 1 of programs have come across don't know how use or want it.
@ point compile photos timelapse video, don't need automate that, can myself easily.
