another question:
my site has php register_globals setting `on` instead of `off` have change them rg_emulation off still whenever logged in administrator. server side has this?

afair, don't protect @ all, make tricker sites see whether claimed hacking attempt has worked.

there 2 messages in terms of rg variables: 1 disabled if change joomla rg emulation in globals.php, , other needs phps register globals off. if both on, you'll both messages, else you'll one, , can disabled changing relevant setting. in case of shared servers, might not able change php setting, hence appear. if you're careful components use, won't problem though.
