i need improve performance of cpython (interpreted) code. don't want move cython due significant changes code imposes. tried pypy compiles 'c' code in time, , supposed make code run faster result. takes 17.1s (not including jit compile time) performance loop whereas cpython takes 7.6 seconds. version of pypy comes part of standard raspbian distro. according pypy web site, version should be, on average, 6 times faster, me it's 2.25 times slower. ideas why? have recompiled gpio , rpio modules run pypy. rest of python code using standard python libraries. tia post code see doing raspberrypi

hi everybody! use 2 rpi 1b simple door viewer first pi mounted @ tue door has camara attached , streams video mjpg-streamer clients (works great) second pi mounted in living room , has tontec 3.5 inch screen (480x320) attached. searched little bit around board , web simple python script. first attempt using pygame works have huge latency. (approx. 5sec) little test scrippt found on net using cv2 drops latency (approx. 3sec) same scripts have (t<1sec) when executed on tv on hdmi there known root cause why pygame slower vc2, , why output on dsi creates additional 3sec delay? thx mario so, habe tested mjpg-streamer web page. same issue: when connected via hdmi video streamed should little delay betreten movement in front of tue cam compared image displayed. when connected via dsi display 3-4sec delay produced raspberrypi

i having trouble figuring out how jce editor mambot file installed...i keep getting following message: there file called /home/content/l/e/a/myloginid/html/mambots/editors/jce.php - trying install same cmt twice? help please... this occurs reult of failed install left files in place, not enough component function. them if try ininstall, can't, because joomla thinks extension isn't installed!!!! the trick install jxplorer , use delete file.  can't delete using ftp because ftp user not ownwer of file (see several other posts on issue). once have deleted offending file (and others come after have deleted it), should able re-install mambot. good luck brendon Board index Joomla! hey there, yesterday arrived new arduino due board. it´s first arduino/microcontroller ever used i´m not experienced in hardware. how ever, ordered sparkfun 9dof sensor stick. soldered headers on , connected 3.3v sensor stick 3.3v , gnd, sda (20) , scl (21) pins on due board (which runs on 3.3v) via 30cm cables. so figured out how read values of sensors accessing different registers. problem is, each axis 1 of 2 registers gives me abrupt values. here examples serial monitor. !!! these values 1 register. 1 bits on left side (not yet bit shifted).                x         y      z gyro: 254   255       0 gyro: 255     0    255 gyro: 255    255    255 gyro: 3            255 255 gyro: 0   255   252 gyro: 254     0     1 gyro: 250     2   251 i tried different refresh rates. how ever, values right side register give me nice heterogeneous values when move stick. happens pretty of sensors on stick. when add them end values 0-255 , around 65xxx-66xxx or something i figured out bette
