primeiramente boa tarde. galera, o negocio é o seguinte, estou no primeiro período de engenharia de controle e automação e como projeto de introdução engenharia estou fazendo o projeto de um braço mecânico utilizando servo motores e arduíno. ainda não sei muito sobre programação, mas andei pesquisando bastante na net, como faz para controlar o servo motor com joystick, até fiz funcionar, mas não jeito que eu preciso. como estou no trampo agora, não tenho como mandar pra vcs programação que eu estou utilizando. mas meu problema é: quando eu jogo o joystick pra direita, por exemplo, o servo obedece o comando, mas quando eu volto o joystick para o centro o servo acompanha esse movimento, gostaria de saber como faz para, por exemplo, o servo iniciar na posição central e quando eu jogar o joystick para direita o servo acompanhar, porem quando eu voltar o joystick para o centro ele manter posição e quando eu jogar o joystick para esquerda o servo ir mudando gradativamente para esq

hello, i'm newbie arduino , electronics.  i have arduino uno ethernet shield , have managed build circuit on breadboard uses 74hc4067 multiplexer open port , read input temperature sensor.  it displays temperature reading on serial monitor.  in sketch figured out how use web display same information.  i mention give idea of skill level.  the math of ohm's law makes sense me applying design of own circuits remains daunting. so here's goal.  i've built electric bike.  it's being powered 72 battery cells scavenged old laptops.  from reading on using these cells important match cells of equal capacity (measured in mah).   difficult task used batteries.  the best way charge cell , discharge it, measuring voltage drop on time calculate true capacity.   to can put large resistor on cell draw current , measure voltage drop.  track on time , have need.  simple enough (easy me say) single cell.  but have 300 cells test.  one cell @ time take forever using method. so

hi, new poster longtime lurker. nearing install of raspberrypi surf van. using 100w buck converter usb psu. 1 feed power pi. want place 2 or 3 'charging' (i.e. 2.1a) ports dashboard, having little difficulty getting correct cable. 3m run @ 6-8amp max 5v out. used couple of tools on tinterwebs must doing wrong. recommend me suitable cable core/gauge. maybe 4 core domestic lighting cable ? not 100% sure on this. thanks if worried , @ 3m length rip cable out of billy basics extension plug few quid local supernarket , rest assured. 12 v @ several amps through various gauges of speaker , bell wire , shed hasn't caught fire yet. raspberrypi

hello, i'm looking advice on how set up.  my situation:  have boat bridge electronics, steering , control located.  spend time while piloting boat.   i looking install many sensors below deck in various locations.  wiring them aggregate in engine room come conduit bridge.  pulling wire through conduit not easy. looking @ pulling 1 multiple strand wire (or 2 or thee) rather 12,24 or 36 individual paired strands.  then thought... dumb,. why not run 1 or more arduinos connect wirelessly bridge rather pull wire.  ideally want set statusboard allow me monitor sensor info on ipad.  i'm going have aggregate signals somewhere, process them , make available statusboard.   it nice sit on bridge lot of connecting, programming , testing rather dungeon engine room.   but pulling wire suck big time.  just looking thoughts how approach it.  many thanks michael i don't know sort of environment boat in, radio network vulnerable interference devices around you.

hi, i have director application running off cd , looking way increasee start speed. have set stub projector xtras external. on g5 imac takes 25 sec time double click until launches. if take exact same files , copy them cd desktop launches within second or 2. 1 thought had has temp file creates called "temp file aaa" couldn't find it. odd symptom takes long first time after put cd in drive. second time application launched opens @ speed on desktop. ideas or advice appreciated. if need more details please ask. thanks, dave my guess have slow cd-rom. @ best, cd-rom program noticeably slower hard drive based program. there is nothing can that. can, of course, make installer that copies files onto hard drive. there loads of xtras that can handle, it, notably budapi.
