REALLY stuck - LCD not working correctly. - Raspberry Pi Forums

folks,

bought 3.2 inch display , downloaded drivers/image.

not "professional" way of doing it, options limited.

boots, , display works. no worries, seems "stuck" @ point.

in pdf file said can switch hdmi output with:
hdmi-sys-show

, switch 3.2 display with:
lcd32-sys-show

goes on take few minutes load drivers.

have tried couple of times , doesn't seem work.

ok, may not waiting long enough. here real problem face:

sudo apt-get update takes 15 hours (if lucky) , fails.
stupid me hasn't made log not sure why. on 3.2 inch screen difficult.

then:
sudo apt-get upgrade well, gave after 36 hours.
seemed stuck on wolf farm.......

10% , on 36 hours. don't think going work.

adsl ok, , can faster speeds watching videos etc, downloads coming in @ less dialup speeds!

want things date before try again. when "up spec" make image of card , work there. now, have nothing other image supplied display.

since pi doesn't have 3.2 inch display, @ least clue got help. asking supplied better idea posting here. lot of these things have propitiatory drivers built images , nobody here anyway.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. (my ethernet cable connected directly ethernet switch (i'm @ university)) attached configuration of pc internet connection. http://i.imgur.com/budyoeb.jpg thank much, google configuring rpi static ip address. use same ip numbers see on pc. not try have both pc , rpi connected network @ same time. raspberrypi

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com
