ATTINY85 and voltage regulator
i need make few relays timers. it seems attiny85 fit bill nicely.
on devices have looked at digispark, chachka/trinket, , such, have on-board voltage regulators.
since use regulated power supply of stuff do, seems redundant.
also appears usb programming super simple. resistors , schottky's , no secondary ftdi chip.....
all doing using '85, opto input , fet relay activation.
is there reason board mounted voltage regulator missing ?

well attiny85 doesn't have one.
board mounted regulators allow more diverse range of power solutions , protect if there spike in voltage.
