Thread: boot on mac mini

hello,

i'm trying ubuntu operating system on mac mini. when boot ubuntu 9.04 (according https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ma...n#single-boot: ubuntu ) see only: "isolinux 3.63 debian-2008-07-15 copyright (c) 1994-2008 h. peter anvin" , nothing happen further. when try ubuntu 8.04 cd, setup gets language selection (like this: http://news.softpedia.com/images/ext...-large_001.jpg ) , nothing happen further again (keyboard doesn't anything).

please

i using new mac mini running mac os x tiger. while using epsonn scanner via firewire, myt screen froze. usual 'force quit' procedures failed. shut off box (only option @ point). none of solutions recommended apple work.

cannot system boot original cd, example. if try starting while pressing option key, blue screen button , 'continue' button, not promised choice of start-up disks choose from.

[nb: have faulty manageable g4 powerbook running mac os 9.1. (dead screen, use old pc monitor)]

have maxtor one-touch 160 gb external hd. hooke dup few days ago. loaded mac os x , os 9 fcds cam ewith mini onto this. don't think succeeded in making 'bootable' hd.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. (my ethernet cable connected directly ethernet switch (i'm @ university)) attached configuration of pc internet connection. http://i.imgur.com/budyoeb.jpg thank much, google configuring rpi static ip address. use same ip numbers see on pc. not try have both pc , rpi connected network @ same time. raspberrypi

Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com
