[SOLVED] wiringPi with ubuntu MATE for rpi2 - Raspberry Pi Forums
hi,
-i have raspberry pi 2 running ubuntu mate can't use wiringpi. kernel modules loaded (i2c-dev , spidev builtin (in kernel). broadcom specifics ones loaded too.) after "gpio i2cdetect" still asks load modules. pigpio library seems work fine , i2cdetect command provided i2ctools package works too. (i did not wire i2c devices, showed empty adresses).
-yes tried "gpio load spi" , "gpio load i2c" no result. (the i2c load command show warning i2c-0 not exist, sure, because on pi 2 bus i2c-1). idea of how fix wiringpi ?
-i did not try compile program wiringpi, assumed because command-line not work, program won't work well. (am wrong ?)
i'm new here i'm not sure topic belong in c/c++ programming board, because problem more installation/usage of library.
!

wiringpi code quite simple after all. managed fix it. wiring pi use /proc/modules modules list. built-in modules not shown here, problem. edit gpio.c , make change in "moduleloaded" function.
, way, wrong, gpio command broken on ubuntu mate. library work fine guess (after checking code, seems should work fine, bug in gpio command).
still don't know why did not try before posting...
anyway.
