Thread: MP3 Hell - Help Please - NSLU2 / Firefly / Sansa Fuse

with hindsight not have done things way, here - in need of (constructive) advice or support can receive!

have roku soundbridge streaming music nslu2 network storage unit music stored on usb disc drive. nslu2 has linux installed on , using firefly media server software stream music.

firefly uses xml files created itunes manage playlists have been using itunes on windows xp manage files.

bought mp3 player - couldn't afford iplayer , can't keen feed apple empire, bought sansa fuse. doesn't work itunes, moved winamp , spent considerable time rebuilding palylists , sorting out metadata in mp3 files fuse , winamp worked together. download podcasts stored on fuse. have still gad stick itunes maintain firefly playlists.

don't have pictures on fuse yet, might in future.

i've made leap ubuntu linux (juanty) - fantastic. why did wait long, but...

winamp not appear available. i've tinkered of other mp3 software nothing quite need to:

have no no problems mounting disc nslu2 on computer running linux, how i

  1. download , play mp3 files on computer
  2. download podcasts , play them on computer
  3. manage playlists
  4. sync music / podcasts , playlists sansa fuse
  5. use playlists firefly

single integrated solution best, piece of software 1-
5 , second 6 manageable.

when run rhythmbox doesn't sansa show up?

podcasts can use rhythmbox, though use gpodder:

sudo apt-get install gpodder

gpodder sync podcasts specific folder on mp3 device, have specify directory in preferences.

banshee supports podcasts:

sudo apt-get install banshee

both rhythmbox , banshee support smart playlists , can pull playlists mp3 player.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com
