Is Joomla for the advanced user? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

this not meant disrespect joomla nor of it’s members , contributors.

i don't know, maybe doing wrong. joomla advanced users? far web savvy, can , know joomla open source. don't understand joomla! every single 3 column template use, has issues joomla! not touch either “html” nor “css” files – @ default. default template (rhuk_solarflare_ii) goes askew when publish/unpublish modules.  modules not show up, modules cut off, cut tables, and/or put modules ever wants. (and many members) shouldn’t run these issues using of joomla’s “items” in default package – might add, wanted use.

i have tried uninstalling all/partial, reinstalling all/partial, same errors (meaning layout issues) have been @ week no avail. doing site bunch of “blue collar schmo’s” can share fish stories (fishing site).

now, idiot not. there 1 common denominator , joomla – well, 2 – myself. , me, i’m not getting anywhere – adding/removing modules/components instructed of resources joomla! offers. have done searches on joomla , other members have of same issues, there no responses. when there responses, lot of time, member told go site template made. now, myself, why joomla! advertise these template sites if there issues templates (and there no fixes anywhere b had? lot of links on joomla site templates, components, modules dead! sloppy (no disrespect intended) no 1 assigned monitor these. makes me want give on using joomla.

not sure problem might be, have configured sorts of joomla sites without problem. use existing templates or make 1 scratch. in either case have not see problem running on variety of different servers php 4 , php 5 involved. browser using @ site , version of browser?

i wish knew problem having, without more information on how server configured , have viewed hard guess.
