Thread: Problems with MOUNT USB HDD in Jaunty

i had 2 users diegus (root privileges) , beta on jaunty , 2 partitions (y , u) on usb hdd. wanted have partition y mountable user diegus.
on desktop, selected icon of mounted partition y, right-clicked , in volume tab inserted, in settings-mount options, parameter user_id=diegus (other mount options : rw,nosuid,nodev,group_id=0,allow_other,blksize=409 6; filesistem = fuseblk).
after disconnecting+reconnecting usb hdd y icon disappeared , error "invalid mount option while attempting mount volume 'y part hdd_packbell' " displayed.

if manually mount partition y on same mount point used partition u (/media) icon of partition u disappears desktop, can access partition y via mount point (/media) can find tree of partition y. partition u not accessible via mount point directory /media.

i'm quite confused . suggestions mount usb hdd partitions ?
