i'm 7th grade public school teacher. i've purchased, raspberrypi2b. use pi2b, come september in classes. have things working. 1 issue audio pi2b.

after pi2b boots gui, click.
menu/preferences/audio jack control
app opens called - jack audio connection kit.
has 4 tabs.
settings-options-display-misc.

must admit, these exhausting , scary tabs at. looking @ raspberry.org, don't see guidance given. pi2b still being developed , not ready play audio files? can
play audio files? kind of files?

know need 2 items.
-an audio file
-help audio jack

if not best audio sound. if pi2b play audio. use it. audio jack app? not friendly looking. beg anyones help. pi2b have audio files in noobs?

before considered pi2b. preparing use older pcs. teaching several subjects. range 7th - 10th grade.

-scratch
-html,css,javascript,python.
-wolfram
-sonic audio
-graphics editing
-video camera applications

pi2b though has sold millions. pi2b doesn't have blanket average pc mother board has. can many old pcs. free. others low $50 each. however, if understand pi2b audio. make efforts pi2b.

hope can find person me. need prepare study plan september. or advice appreciated.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. (my ethernet cable connected directly ethernet switch (i'm @ university)) attached configuration of pc internet connection. http://i.imgur.com/budyoeb.jpg thank much, google configuring rpi static ip address. use same ip numbers see on pc. not try have both pc , rpi connected network @ same time. raspberrypi

Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com...
