does know can buy, either in store or on-line (pref) cheaply?
i finding arduino , shields expensive of these shields , daughter boards do.
i looking build dedicated webserver plugged in ethernet cable, not bothered if poe @ cost of , arduino (average) can bunch of bits computer fare , knock micro system instead, however, defeats objective of having simple dedicated server scout groups use.
i hoping use arduino netbook , use educational tool local beaver & cub scout pack assistant leader of. given cost involved, prohibitive both scenarios. know scouts wanting build robot, kids would, pointers on how can done cheaply appreciated.
so if knows can obtain original or cloned arduinos compatible arduino ide, appreciate advice, sign posting , leg on prototyping ladder.
