Blog List Section Issue - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have searched through many pages of forum posts , have not come solution one. joomla 1.0.11 site.
regardless of menu item of blog type choose when click on blog menu item create presented list of blog entries. unable select categories within section. so, if page full unable go specific category. if there no posts within given category on blog page category not accessible menu or otherwise.

if select menu item of list - content section receive menu @ top of  body content listing categories in section. no blog entries.

what can't seem both. ideally i'd category menu above latest blog entries. ie: have list - content section latest blog entries below.

the blog on interior page because ecommerce site. i'd prefer not add component because site has virtuemart , each additional component adds exponential complexity.

i have tried these types:
blog - content category
blog - content section
list - content section

the others types don't seem apply.

is possible?

your input appreciated.

if have created sections, category , contents , after creating menu eg. blog - content category save , come same menu item see parameters (on right) change # leading, # intro, columns, # links , see difference. play little know options have!

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com
