Image overlay - Raspberry Pi Forums

hey everyone,
brand new forum here , hoping new project. have bit of experience arduino micro controllers have come against project going require me elsewhere solution. working on project need able overlay image onto video feed. have older arcade cabinet uses pac man style game board. while game in in demo mode (before actual game play starts) want overlay bitmap image on video feed coming game board. menu of sorts allow me take have different style accounting system. ie: play games using log in or pin number crediting machine instead of coins. meters ticked using gpio. (reading bill acceptors , crediting machines have done in past familiar aspect) after "menu" action complete game board main video source.

since retrofit project solution have hardware based.
device need "between" game board output , monitor input.
game board output vga , monitor input vga there converters.

solution need come taking video signal in, overlaying image (could done in software running on pie) , after, allow source video stream through device. think pi made accomplish not sure. have seen video capture devices used stream hd tv on pi. may work.

looking guidance on whether hardware can handle this.

want similar... want have pi run camera, feeding live video tv , put transparent overlay on top of video.

i'm *brand new* pi don't know start. appreciated!!

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. (my ethernet cable connected directly ethernet switch (i'm @ university)) attached configuration of pc internet connection. http://i.imgur.com/budyoeb.jpg thank much, google configuring rpi static ip address. use same ip numbers see on pc. not try have both pc , rpi connected network @ same time. raspberrypi

Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com...
