Thread: Want to switch to Ubuntu Server with WEB enabled, but...

hi there,

i'm new ubuntu, have workstation installed in vmware virtual machine running under vista base os, , far. can't know lot i'm learning go along.

figured forum post in problem. have windows 2003 server iis 6.0 , frontpage server extensions want convert on ubuntu server, , part think easy, except love editing web pages using either frontpage or expression web 2. there no easy solution editing existing web pages , sites , continue using frontpage or expression web if can.

now, if there such animal frontpage server extensions linux allow me edit web pages vista running frontpage, great! there's idea of how can port of web pages , sites windows 2003 server ubuntu server, , opening of ports, installing mysql , php, managing file locations, etc., etc., etc. i'm not novice setting these on windows servers might run difficulty linux.

if has had similar experience converting windows server linux, please advise, i'll need can get.

you can still use frontpage edit pages without using "extentions". mean pages work in browsers other msie too.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com...
