A newbie looking to turn my Pi into an Emulator - Raspberry Pi Forums

hello! first post here!

got raspberry pi 2 pretty recently, going turn media centre i've decided i'd turn emulator.

love nes , snes era of gaming. still have original consoles , games, i'm quite protective on them , i'd more portable can set @ friends house , sort of thing.

have 2 questions really:

firstly, best emulator use raspberry pi 2? can set doesn't require fuss :p.

, secondly, have retro usb controllers used play games shovel knight on pc. (this one) 2 of these work pi? need externally powered usb adaptor use them or work fine on default ones?

install retropie 3.0 beta 2... has emulationstation (http://emulationstation.org/) frontend , has great selection of emulators.

can install kodi easy of

code: select all

sudo ./home/pi/retropie-setup/retropie_setup.sh
there called "happi game center" in francais , has limelight , kodi preinstalled. emulationstation used.

emulationstation-raspberry pi-distribution (also france) recalbox kodi pre-installed well. hasn't been updated while. still work great you!

ignition.io, in closed beta right now, sooner or later have kodi pre-installed. has many new social features. @ video @ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/17 ... escription

beware: there bug kodi 14 , below, closing after playing video leave black screen.
can install kodi 15 beta 1 (see viewtopic.php?f=66&t=109088) bug fixed. it's beta, may experience other problems. didn't try yet.

hello, after conventional installation raspbian noobs v 1.4 raspberry pi 2 . how can configure internet connection on raspberry me download apt. (my ethernet cable connected directly ethernet switch (i'm @ university)) attached configuration of pc internet connection. http://i.imgur.com/budyoeb.jpg thank much, google configuring rpi static ip address. use same ip numbers see on pc. not try have both pc , rpi connected network @ same time. raspberrypi

Multithumb configuration params not working? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi, i've installed multithumb 1.1 on joomla 1.011 site , works fine in basic set-up (and jce-editor). except when try tweaking mambot params, things stop working. specifically: if use "only in these categories" setting , fill in categoryname, e.g. "news", pop-ups/thumbnails stop working, categories, including "news". if use "not in these categories" these categories still use pop-ups. if select "use thumbnails" "no" not no thumbnails no pop-ups anymore. so way use multithumb selectively use optioni "apply content {multithumb}", bit cumbersome. there more people having these issues? hi bikey, i having issues bit different - yet same.  saying have way set configuration plug-in.  not know how find cong this.  if can maybe read posting - don't bore process.  jce editor - have not installed - still using default html editor - cant recall name.  why not see config file? anyway - find if use static page , pass com
