Thread: Wireless Slow, Sometimes Not working

on thread wired , wireless not functioning properly, able wired work.
so, posting thread on wireless problem.
here's list of pc specs.

wireless card uses intel 4965 drivers.
have been having very slow wireless speeds. have vista installed... , don't problems @ networking , internet there.
when trying update went slower , synaptic downloads @ 15kbs. @ it's highest download rate 30kbs in synaptic, doesn't last long.
vista speeds on 500kbs....
things have tried far... continue update have tried.
seems disable ipv6 not output ( lsmod | grep inet6 ) when run it.
echo 1 | sudo tee /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all/disable_ipv6
so, ipv6 not seem problem.
have tried changing bit rate ( sudo iwconfig wlan0 rate 5.5m ) , still no go...
have tried changing /etc/nsswitch.conf ( hosts: files mdns4_minimal [notfound=return] dns mdns4 ) , replacing ( hosts: files dns ). still no go....
have tried changing mtu settings , still no go....
have been trying ndiswrapper work , have not yet been successful. still trying load driver in there , work. while installing , trying ndiswrapper work wireless went totally down, able working again using (( sudo ifup wlan0 )).

i have been playing ndiswrapper , seems installed correctly.

can't seem intel drivers loaded right see if work. says installed too.

so, question is... how wifi drivers have installed register? have blacklist iwlagn? if so, have tried , wireless stopped working until defaulted blacklist.conf file.
