receiving radio transmitted data with an arduino

hi guys,

i hoping perhaps advice project idea. there device in home transmits data readings via short range radio @ 433.82 mhz. know how/if pick these reading arduino or galileo board , display them on simple screen?

there range of digital radio transmitters/receivers working @ around 433mhz can controlled arduino. however, you'd need lot more information signal you're trying decode know whether these suitable handle it.
