Experience with Pi Emulator on Win7 & Linux? - Raspberry Pi Forums
i wanted find out experience people had pi emulators on win7 , linux, far code development concerned. guess has fidelity in hardwares including gpio. recommend 1 or two?
background:
new pi , have set development environment on linux eclipse cpp. (thanks : http://hertaville.com/2012/09/28/develo ... -compiler/, , debugging set-up has link in article.) however, ssh connection , debugging procedures rather cumbersome set repeatedly when 1 goes through new projects learn tutorial interfacing projects. easier if there emulator 1 use symbolic debugging (as in eclipse).
regards,
lou.

the emulator run raspbian on windows or linux qemu , quite difficult setup. read somewhere latest images don't work qemu.
develop on computer , made simple python script uses rsync , ssh execute commands automatically transfer, compile , run. not difficult.
