ok, know resistor ladder setup , using 328p (uno r3). used several times in sketches. my question: i can see 4 ways setup input on mc. pulled high without  input_pullup pulled high with   input_pullup pulled low without  input_pullup pulled low with   input_pullup now, there way physically change pulled high pulled low through programming or inputs? i have attached eagle design have made 12 button ladder.  have found more reliable breadboard , user can plug ever resistor values want , test values using 'button read' sketch.  have been within 4 points using pcb , lot higher spread breadboard.  hope able put use , have better results projects.  eagle files not show want use single machined header pins resistor leads , tact buttons soldered board on new board allow changing resistors without getting solder gun out every time. 5v-output-gnd 3 pin can pulled off , turned reverse 5v & gnd different values, pulled high/ pulled low...

i've volunteered teach computer science class using rpi platform. i've been in 20 years (desktop/server support, networking et, et) teaching story. i'll start tutorials on main site - -but feel need more material occupy entire year. class high school age, (14-17 years old), don't know computer proficiency. did myself into? suggestions? i suggest finding kids want pi, sounds fun , work through tutorials. have them work on ambitious (but not ambitious project) , should last year. if not, can find other projects in magpi. class every day? raspberrypi

hi, here's problem. have movieclip "a_mc". want put content of second movieclip "b_mc" "a_mc" or somehow replace a_mc b_mc , keep name. tried following i'm getting nowhere: a_mc.swapdepths(b_mc); removemovieclip(a_mc); b_mc._name = "a_mc"; any ideas on how replace movieclip ? there's no way replace existing movieclip existing movieclip. however, can create new movieclip via createemptymovieclip or attachmovie or duplicatemovieclip replaces existing one. i'm new community, have been reading on r pi time. first forum topic wanted ask simple hypothetical question. assuming had know how , do it, take create intel based analog of r pi? think of thought experiment. how such system cost, advantages be? run smoothly r pi? small? worth while in long run? able feesibly sell them $39.99 taking specs of r pi 2 our goal create closely possible computer same specs our computer based on intel instead of arm. know arm better @ power management intel. why arm leader in mobile devices, can comparable performance out if intel based system similar specs? no, pi possible abandoning restrictions of intel hardware, x86 based system not viable alternative! raspberrypi
